"Alan Greenspan, former chairman of the Federal Reserve Board, Dr. Greenspan served as chairman of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve system for 18 years. Under President Ford, Dr. Greenspan was the chairman of the President's Council of Economic Advisors. He also served as chairman of the National Commission on Social Security reform and the Economic Policy Advisory Board under President Reagan."
